Clothing
All gently used mens clothing items for all season are greatly appreciated. Homeless men tend to use warm clothing the most, as they can keep it year round, but all are a huge help.
Toiletries
Toothpaste, Deodorant, Tooth Brushes, Razors, Floss, Hair Brushes etc, are all needed items for the men as they live in Toronto. These items run out quickly, and are a perfect item to donate if you have extras.
MOST NEEDED: SOCKS
Homeless men walk everywhere. For this reason, they go through many pairs of socks in a week. Socks are always needed, and right now, are the most needed item.
How You Make A Difference
Your voice is very powerful. Telling friends, family members, workers and other people you know about getting involved creates a chain reaction of compassion.
Providing a Helping Hand
Not only are you providing a smile on the faces of the homeless, but you have taken the time to make change in order to guarantee easier living for these men in Toronto.

How You Donate: Get Involved
Look For Items:
As this charity is for homeless men over 50, keep that in mind when going through your clothing. Items should not be torn or ripped up, but gently used. If gently used, then items are appropriate. Toiletries should be new, as it is unsanitary otherwise and cannot be donated. If you have any questions, feel free to contact: everydayishomelessday@gmail.com
Go Through Items and Contact
Once all items have been sorted into what you want to donate, contact Everyday Is Homeless Day with the next steps. Here, you will discuss whether you want your donation to be anonymous or not, and how items will be picked up.
Spread the Word
Now that you have made a difference, you can encourage others to make the same movements towards a better society. Your compassion has gone a far way, and you have the chance to promote others to do the same.
